Old-Fashioned Meatloaf with Brown Gravy

Ingredients :For the meatloaf:2 lbs ground beef1 small onion, finely chopped1/2 cup breadcrumbs2 eggs1/2 cup milk1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce1 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon black pepper1 teaspoon garlic powder1 teaspoon dried parsleyFor the brown gravy:3 tablespoons butter3 tablespoons all-purpose flour2 cups beef broth1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauceSalt & pepper to tasteInstructionsPreheat oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.In a large bowl, mix ground beef, onion, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and parsley.Shape into a loaf and place in the pan.Bake 55–65 minutes, or until fully cooked.While it bakes, melt butter in a saucepan.Whisk in flour to make a roux and cook 1 minute.Slowly add beef broth while whisking until smooth.Add Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.Slice meatloaf and spoon warm brown gravy over the top.
